How to remove account manually?

Does anybody know how to do that. Which files to look at - which entries to clean etc.

A client set up an account for a client, however the account never became listed in the WHM accounts listing. I know there is a fix in WHM but I would like to know how to manually clean the entries.
Does anybodo know how to do this?
