I would assume you'll be able to do this by editing the theme files (in particular Modifying an existing panel ) -and this forum thread pointed me towards a webpage that indicates that making a file called templates/{YOUR_TEMPLATE}/clientareaproducts.tpl might allow you to remove the link to the control panel. (I don't use WHMCS myself)

Unfortunately this would be up to the WHMCS side of things so I don't have any advice on my end for this particular issue.
They keep pointing me to you guys as you were the ones who created the cPanel module for WHMCS, which to modify it, I believe it needs to be unencrypted.

I reached out to WHMCS about this and they confirmed that Working With Client Area Home Page Panels - WHMCS Documentation is the correct area to check, but you'd need to look at the "Active Products/Services" section.

I can confirm there isn't anything on the cPanel-side we can do to help, but if the above doesn't work you'll want to reach out to WHMCS directly through a support ticket.

I'll take a look and see what I can concur.
