    Hi everyone,

I am new to cpanel, and need some help. I installed a website on my domain, and don't like it. I would like to replace it with Wordpress. What files do I delete in the file cabinet to remove the current site and start over? Do I delete everything under that domain?

    Thanks so much,
    Vicki

Files for your website are placed in the public_html directory. You may have other files in there as well like error pages, a favicon, CGI-BIN directory possibly, these can but probably shouldn't be removed.

You may want to speak with your host to find out the default files inside your public_html directory before wiping them all.

Thanks so much for your reply. I took your advice and I did talk with my hosting service. They had me remove them by using Fantastico. They walked me through it and it was pretty simple.

    Thanks again,
    Vicki
