How to restore Email Data of Cpanel manually?

Due to some reason Full backup is not working in my server.
So I Restored the MYSQL DB using backup and manually uploaded the Home directory files.

Now I need to have the Email data in my account.

What is process to restore Email Data manually.

I have Full back up of the site as offered my Cpanel "backup" option.

How to restore email data into server manually or any other process?

You will have to extract the cpanel backup file under your local machine and then upload the "mail" folder under the home directory of your account by using ftp or file manager. If the mail folder already present under your account then rename this folder and then upload it under the home ("/home/username") folder.

Yep, its correct way. However, ensure your mail directory permission it should be user:mail...

hi there,
what if i want to restore only one email a/c out of many. The user accidentally deleted his emails.. but i managed to find a month old backup of the full website.. with the mail folder... if i restore all emails then other users will have an issue.. so only 1 email needs to be restored.
i have tried the following but no luck so far.
1. deleted the particular email a/c for example sake [email protected]
2. recreated the email id
3. uploaded the zip file of sam located in mail/domainname.net folder from old backup to the current server and extracted the file.

tried to access email via webmail but no luck.. webmail is blank in Horde.
roundcube shows an error.

Got this error when tried to go to settings and tried to get the size of the folder. it does show a count of no of messages but nothing more.
