how to restore incremental backup w/o tar

    how to restore incremental backup without taring the backup folder?
    gzip use a lot resources and it takes a long time.

    The way I've found to restore these from CLI is to rename the user's backup folder with a "cpmove-" prefix and then use /scripts/restorepkg to call the full path to the folder.

    Here's an example:

    cd /backup/cpbackup/daily
    mv user cpmove-user
    /scripts/restorepkg /backup/cpbackup/daily/cpmove-user


    Alternitvely you can just use WHM to restore the backup.

    Login to WHM and use restore backup feature
