How to retrieve WHM password?

    When after few days i attempted to login to WHM i failed due to wrong password message, I am 100% sure i am giving the perfect login and password, what happend to it? I am able to login to SSH with same user and password. I attempted to login to WHM using root. Please help

    If you have brute force protection enabled (such as cpHulkD), that could what is preventing you from logging in via WHM. You may want to stop cpHulkD via SSH by running /usr/local/cpanel/etc/init/stopcphulkd and immediately try to login via WHM. Note that chkservd will automatically attempt to restart this service the next time it checks service status (which is once every 8 minutes).
