search in google for "secure cpanel"
also you can search for :
    install apf
    install mod_security
    secure /tmp
    install rkhunter
    install maillscaner & clamav
    stop direct root access
    secure sshd
    stop telnet
thats some of what you need to do
always search and lurn to do things your self
    good luck

Personally, eth0.us has some nice guides on how to install things like RRDtool/HotSaNIC and APF, mod_dosevasive, mod_security etc I feel. Worked for me without any problems- check them out.

Make sure you install APF, mod_security and mod_dosevasive as a miniumum for a production server. MRTG and RRDtool/HotSaNIC help hugely when trying to analyse attacks etc.
