how to see who took down server? where are logs

    hi there,

    i am running a test server at home here, and i have 30 or so sites, that arent like.. full.. so people so scripts, etc and try to take down the server for me, so i can learn.....

    anyways, where is the logs that show who did what? i mean, i couldnt get into WHM at all, or anything........ The server was at a load of over 45....

    what file shows the info as to who did what, etc?

    Hi,

    It is not as easy as you make it look. There is really no &file& that will tell you what happened. You will just have to figure it out by watching server processes while the server is up and monitoring users' resource utilization. ;)

    CPanel is storing the new cpu monitoring logs in:
    /var/log/dcpumon

    That might tell you something.
