    CRON JOB For Dummies

I am attempting to setup a cron job for an ad manager software program and the instructions say

"If you will be using wget, the line is:

    1 0 * * * /path/to/wget --spider -q 'http://www.yourdomain.com/rebuild.php?word=yoursecretword'

If you will be using lynx, the line is:

    1 0 * * * /path/to/lynx -dump 'http://www.yourdomain.com/rebuild.php?word=yoursecretword' >/dev/null

If you will be using GET, the line is:

    1 0 * * * GET 'http://www.yourdomain.com/rebuild.php?word=yoursecretword'

How do I determine the path and whether my server is using "wget", "lynx" or "GET"

Any one have a clue as what and where to look for this?

Thank you whoever you are :)

You do not need to provide full path. For get your you will need to use GET and for wget path use wget. It should work. I am not sure about lynx.
