    Hi all,

While trying to send emails to my main mail account ( ie. cpanel_user_name@domainname) the mails are not receiving. If I use the server host name instead of domain name , I can receive mails. I don't want to use hostname but domain name. What settings it require ?

    Please let me know

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Steve007.

This could be the catchall issue.

Have you set the Default Address to :fail: or :blackhole: or forwarded to another account (not the main account)?

If so, they you have to create a new Mail Account called mainaccount@domain.com and use those details to login. This is an odd restriction of how cPanel configures Exim.

They would be setup under the Default Address link in cPanel.
