    How To Set Up Server

    Folks,
I am very new to Cpanel. I have subscribed to a server and have been told that it is activated. I am able to access the Cpanel alright. My problem is how to set it up so it can point to my domain name. When I try to browse to my domain name in internet explorer, it takes me to the suspension page of my previous shared hosting company (website suspended due to excess bandwidth, which is why I moved to a server of my own). I can give any information that you will need to assist me. I do not have the money to have my server managed by my host. Please help.

    Domain Name.ghanaexpo.com
    Thanks

There's much to do on a new server, but you might start with the domain name itself at your domain name registrar to make sure you've got your domain's nameservers setup to point to the new server.

I tried to setup my domain's nameservers to point to the new server but I was told the new nameservers of the server are not registered. How do I register them?

Registering nameservers is the process where you provide the IP addresses of your nameservers (running on the cPanel/WHM server) and their corresponding hostnames (e.g. ns1.example.com and ns2.example.com). This information is provided to your domain registrar.

Since this process varies greatly among domain registrars, I recommend contacting your domain registrar for assistance with regards to performing this specific task.
