    The request you guys submitted was a duplicate of the following feature request:

    http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/show_bug.cgi?id=3804

    I have marked it as such.

    Note, cPanel/WHM does not perform billing functionality. This functionality is typically handled by the billing application you use, not cPanel/WHM itself. Here is a list of billing applications known to work with cPanel/WHM:

    Commercial Applications (Listed Alphabetically)

    * Account Lab Plus - Netenberg.com/accountlabplus.php
    * Advanced Webhost Billing System (AWBS) - AWBS.com (Formerly: DRAMS)
    * Automated Hosting Cpanel Manager (AHM) - http://www.popscript.com/scripts/php-scripts/hosting/automated-hosting-cpanel-manager/prod_1039.html
    * Blesta - Blesta.com
    * ClientExec - ClientExec.com
    * HostAdmin - DreamCost.com/?page=hostadmin (Requires purchase of add-on module to work with cPanel/WHM)
    * iHost - iHostDev.com/ihost.html
    * iPanel - iHostDev.com/ipanel.html
    * Logicbill - Logicbill.com
    * ModernBill - ModernBill.com
    * PhpHostBot - idevspot.com/PhpHostBot.php
    * Platypus - resellers.TuCows.com/backoffice
    * Ubersmith - Ubersmith.com
    * Whois.Cart - WhoisCart.net
    * WHM AutoPilot - WHMAutoPilot.com
    * WHM Complete Solution - WHMCS.com
    * WHN Billing Professional - WebHostingBilling.com/whnbilling.html

    Free Applications (Listed Alphabetically)

    * Auto Host Manager (AHM) - AutoHostManager.com
    * FastPay - fastpay.EquableHost.com
    * phpCOIN - phpCOIN.com (Requires add-on module to work with cPanel/WHM)
    * Solid-State - Solid-State.org (Requires add-on module to work with cPanel/WHM)

    I'm personally not terribly familiar with the free ones myself. I usually use the commercial ones since they generally are of better quality.

    However, there are very many threads comparing virtually all of these billing systems on www.WebHostingTalk.com - you may wish to search their forum for more information.

    Is it possible to request for some kind of billing to be built into cpanel?

    Cheers,

    You are welcome to request this at http://bugzilla.cpanel.net . However, the existing third party billing apps (especially the commercial ones) typically satisfies most companies' needs for a billing system. For the few whose needs are not satisfied by those systems, they can use the XML-API to integrate their custom solution with cPanel/WHM.

    As a result, there may be insufficient demand for this particular feature request for it to be implemented. There hasn't been much demand for cPanel itself to build a billing system in the past, hence we haven't pursued the addition of such functionality.
