    Hello,

I am transferring about 20 hosting accounts to my new server and I am still trying to lear everything it can do. Currently, all my accounts on their old server access their webmail by going to www.domain.com/mail

I know that with the WHM system, they can go to www.domain.com/webmail, but rather than try to retrain all my clients on the new url, can I set it up so all domains hosted on my new server will reroute to webmail when they type in www.domain.com/mail?

I would also like to do the same thing for rerouting people to the Cpanel by typing in www.domain.com/menu (instead of www.domain.com/cpanel).

    Any help is appreciated!

You should just be able to change the entries in httpd.conf (type locate httpd.conf or go to /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf). I think I remember whm putting it in there after a cpanel update.

If I change it, will it get overwritten when there is the next cPanel update?

I think that the old entries get commented out and then new ones get put in its place regardless of what the old entries were, so probably yes. But dont quote me.

Simply add these two lines to your httpd.conf file

    ScriptAlias /mail /usr/local/cpanel/base/wredirect.cgi
    ScriptAliasMatch ^/mail/(.*) /usr/local/cpanel/base/wredirect.cgi

    Regards,
    Timothy

Forgot to post this in that last one, but this will work for your menu redirect

    ScriptAliasMatch ^/menu/(.*) /usr/local/cpanel/base/redirect.cgi
    ScriptAlias /menu /usr/local/cpanel/base/redirect.cgi
