I enabled backups on my server into /backup which appeared to already exist.

However, most of the backups failed due to a disk space issue. When I checked the /backup dir is on a partition with only 9GB of space.

So what are my options here, I could change the dir to a bigger partition but it has the /home dir on it so i'm assuming that is bad practice?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Right, it's not recommended to store backups on the /home partition. I suggest adding a new drive to the server for the /backup partition, or consider storing the backups on a remote destination.

    Thank you.
