    hi

i am hosting several domains on a VPS and have a few simple sites up and running - what i want to do is develop some more

but i need to get a programmer / webmaster access to just 1 domain so they can set up MySQL etc

How do i give 1 person (or evern 2 or 3) access to just one domain from a list of domains that i am hosting with cpanel?

    thanks
    :)

Assuming that you have whm access and the by VPS you mean virtual private server in the sensed of a shared dedicated server and not a single hosting account, just create the website as its own account and give the webmaster access, as that is needed to use MySQL manager from cpanel.

If you have only one webhosting account then you will need to give your webmasters access via ftp (use FTPManager in cPanel) and if you trust your webmaster you can give them access to the mysql database with an access host entry or install your own phpMyadmin and allow them to make the modifications to the database via that.

    Hope that helped....
