    Hello,

i see in WHM is section "Manage MySQL® Profiles" but from description i do not know how it will work in case i add remote MySQL server. "offload MySQL-related work" is explaining almost nothing.

    Questions:
    1) After i add remote mysql server, will it allow my local server not use any RAM for MySQL work? Can i stop MySQL service on local server and use only remote one using this feature of the WHM?
    2) How will be handled MySQL data transfer or synchronization?
    3) Where is the tutorial on how to proceed?

    Thank You

    Hello,

    The option is documented at:

Manage MySQL Profiles - Documentation - cPanel Documentation

    1. Yes, MySQL runs on the remote server instead of the local server. You don't have to run MySQL on the local server.
    2. You must transfer existing MySQL data manually, as described in the document linked above.
    3. You can follow the instructions in the document linked above installing MySQL on a remote server.

Let us know if you have additional questions.

    Thank you.
