I have a licensed WHM linux server. Is there a way to setup the DDNS (Dynamic DNS) so I can have my local computer or video camera for remote access?

    Hello :)

I believe you are referring to the following functionality:

    DDNS for ISP Users

There are no native options in cPanel to support this. You would need to use a third-party provider to configure this or consult with a developer to implement a custom application to allow for this.

    Thank you.

what I'd do if I were you:
I'd set up my router to handle notifications and updates to a ddns address.
Then you can set up an apache proxy to load content from that ddns address.
This way for an 'outsider' your content can be reached over a static ip..
Also I'd consider some sort of caching solution :)
also you can of course set up bind locally getting your current ip and set up bind to receive updates from your home machine. you should also set a very low ttl then..
    up2 for example with:

We as a cPanel host offer DDNS to our customers.
That way they can set up e.g. to point to their home IP.

We do this in the following way:
    - We have DDNS Server( that is compatible with DynDNS but also accessible by url. The system works with most router software that allow custom DDNS servers (Dlink, Tomato, Draytek) our by just using wget on a remote computer, NAS, ...
    - When a DDNS Request is received, we use the WHM API to edit the Zone of the customers domain where we modify the A record to their home IP (with a TTL of 1).

So basically all you need to do is create a script which can take the DDNS requests and update zone records on your DNS server.
