I am bad at computers and have a dumb question:

How do I login to my server via SSH? I have Putty, but no idea what IP to connect as. I just joined a company that uses cPanel as part of their hosting but I don't really know what I'm doing.

How do I find the IP to connect as? I can see what I think is the IP address of my site in the Advanced Zone Editor but trying to SSH into that just times out and can't connect. Is the port something other than 22?

Even when I can connect to it, what do I login with? The same user/pass as cPanel? What about the root password? So lost :(

    Hello,

The following document offers instructions on how to access your server via SSH:

SSH Access - Documentation - cPanel Documentation

You can connect using the same domain name or hostname that you use to access cPanel or WHM.

    Thank you.
