What do you mean by firewall?
Ipchains/Iptables/Portsentry?

Feb 21 04:20:53 blah sshd[9087]: Bad protocol version identification '' from x.x.x.x

I don't know how to kill the emails. But I can say neomail is your friend. Before you use pop to download your email login to that account and look at/delete the server check email. That way you don't have to download it. It's not a cure but it may ease the pain.

They were not that bad until all the pop logins starting showing up. Now the info you want/need to see is hidden in thousands of pop logins.

It would be nice if you could change the email address it's sent to. And could filter out all the pop logins.

Better yet, Nick, is there a way to turn off those nightly emails from the server?

denied update from [80.105.195.27].63832 for &domain.com&

What exactly does this mean? I have this warning for only one domain but there are about 1200 entries daily, it is my half log file.

Do you have &domain.com& configured as a zone on the nameserver on that machine there?

Yes, I do, this is a fully working domain (with email etc), correctly tracerouting to my server.
