how to turn off mydomain.com/~username ?

    I want to take away ability for users to see their site at mydomain.com/~username with whm. how to do that?

    In your WHM > Security Center > Apache mod_userdir Tweak you'll find the setting to disable this.

    More specifically, you'll want to go to
    Main >> Security Center >> Apache mod_userdir Tweak

    Click the box that says "Enable mod_userdir Protection" and then make sure there's no other checkboxes marked on the "Exclude Protection" column.
