I have tried using PHP selector in software tab and set the version to 7.1 and hit update but that didn't change the version in the server information and laravel requires PHP version higher than or 5.5, Thanks !

On servers with EasyApache 4 which I would assume you have at this point you can install different versions of PHP and assign them to the site using the MultiPHP manager in WHM.
