How to upload a skin

I have download a theme and edited some things, now i have a folder with the all theme content
But now i like to know how to upload this theme and install.
I try zipping the folder and upload using whm the zip file
usint this: Install a New cPanel Theme

But i have this file
Can any tell me what is wrong?

you need to tar gzip the folder then rename its extension to .cptheme

e.g. if you ended up with theme.tar.gz you would need to rename it to theme.cptheme

You can use any of the software applications like WinRAR or WinZIP.
