use file manager inside cpanel to edit individual files.

or you can download the home directory backup using cpanel --Backup-->download home directory backup
option to download the complete public_html folder and then edit the required files locally.

thank you for your feedback. Thats the problem I am having, I can't find the HTML files in file manager that I want to edit. Where are they kept please? There is puplic_html directory, but can't see HTML files to download. I'll try to download the whole directory. I'll keep you posted.

    Hi,

Normally the html files would be saved under public_html, unless you chose a different document root/location when setting up the domain. See attached images for clarification on what you should be seeing when you select file manager. Thanks!

    vBulletin

Thank you for your responce. I have spoken to the web site owner and he has given full access to his web site. The HTML files that I need to alter are all in vBulletin 3.8. Does anyonw know how to use this program? I can access it, but don't my way around it. Any help/user guide/manual would be great. I have searched Google, but no one seems to have any guides. Thank you.
