    I'm trying to avoid legit users from using the server to spam.

    Now with the current configuration if a user authenticates using smtp-auth he can basiclly use a forged sender email to send emails.

    using exim 4.2

    in the router section:

    check_outgoing:
    driver = redirect
    domains = ! +local_domains
    allow_fail
    data = :fail: you are not allowed to send outside

    But i couldnt get incoming mail..

    WEIRD!

    Add on:

    I have concluded that the best way to do this is to make sure that the username passed in auth is equal to the sender ($sender_address) but i dont know how to do it.

    Anyone here care to check it out ?

    thanks !
