We have just built a new server on latest Centos and cPanel versions. Migrated some accounts over from another cPanel site and wanted to preview the websites to ensure they run ok as there are slightly newer versions of MySQL and php on the new server.

I used to be able to just browse via http://ip/~username but this doesn't appear to work anymore ? how do i fix this or is there any other methods of checking site is running ok before I change DNS pointers to run the sites on new server ?

I get a 404 currently if i try and browse using tilde

Maybe using a subdomain? And point the subdomain to the new server IP.
