HI, I've come across an issue with the password protect directories function...

The problem is in the cpanel interface - Whatever folder you select, the tick box "Password protect this directory:" is ticked and if you untick it - it is ticked again if you go back and look again. This doesnt appear to actually add anything to the htaccess file but it is a bit of a pain.

Is this happening for anyone else on the latest Release build ?

I've also had this happen with the latest release. In the cpanel password protection page, I wasn't able to get the folder to save it's realm, and no .htaccess file modifications were being made (and nothing I could see in the sites directory or in httpd.conf was being changed).

The cpanel version I have is "WHM 11.11.0 cPanel 11.16.0-R18546".

That's interesting. Are there any errors in the cpanel error log? R18546 contains fixes for htaccess password protection, including for the 'uncheckable' checkbox.
