I need to know how to do this and all my attempts have failed and I have searched the web and the forums and can not find a solution.

I am finding out that users are using server A Records like example host.server.com which is pulling all my content of my main site example domain.com.

I need to prevent this from happening.

    mx.server.com - mail server
    ns1.server.com - name server
    ns2.server.com - name server

So if goes to say mx.server.com they can go to my forums say at mx.server.com/forums

This is very annoying and I want to prevent the outside world from using those above as websites.

So how do I do this with .htacces?
