    Had a French client point out to me today that if you use accented characters in the html editor. For example, it changed:

    L'histoire, depuis qu'elle n'est plus un art mais une science, racontée par les historiens, à l'aide de dates, de chiffres, d'analyses, de faits exposés froidement, est devenue ennuyeuse et apparaît comme étant réservée aux seuls scientifiques.

    It displays fine until you save it and that is where the replacement seems to take place...

    You might also want to try a "workaround" by using something like www.snippetmaster.com instead to edit the pages.

    It works great with international languages, and supports multiple languages. A french translation is coming shortly.

    Fix

    Hey !

    The problem comes from the fact that the HTML Editor saves the files with a UTF-8 encoding, and it is not reckonized by your/their/whoever browser.

    In order to force the browser to display the accents, you have to add a meta tag such as :

    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">

    in the header of your html file.

    Hope this helps,
    TiZoo Sàrl,
    Florian B.
