http.conf deleted after an ssl certification installation

    i have WHM 9.9.9 cPanel 9.9.9-C103 on a RedHat Enterprise 3 with WHM X v3.1.0

    Today i was install an ssl certification that i have ganarated from my WHM.

    Aftes installation my http.conf has erased and inside the http.cong was only the virtualhost for the certified site !!!!


    Thankx god i have a daily back.

    Does anyone here has the same problem or does anyone knowes something?

    Yeah, I had this happen today also to us...

    So watch out for this.

    Had this happen once a while ago when updating a package in whm, it seemed to just loop and wiped out httpd.conf, not the same as your prob but the following will rebuild httpd.conf if you do not have a backup.

    /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf I would only run this as a last resort though.

    if you think it's reproduceable/traceable... I'd suggest filing a bug report to ensure that hopefully things like this won't happen to you again.

    Yeah, at least I had a backup to use...

    And I did put in support ticket for it.. too... we will see.

    Anything ever become of this? We tried to reinstall some of our shared SSL certs today and this happened, had to copy in backup copies of httpd.conf.
