Hi,

i was wondering if it is possible to split the cPanel like that ... MySQL and Exim on 1 machine and HTTP/DNS/FTP and anything else on the other ...

What kinda of structure would you use instead of that ?
if you have done such thing can you show some steps and difficults had ?
what about the creation of things ? ( if u had a exim separeted how would you implement the mail creation and so on ?

thanks ...

What you intend to do is called clustering. cPanel/WHM natively supports DNS and MySQL clustering, meaning you can have a central cPanel/WHM server with separate DNS and MySQL servers. Mail clustering is something we are considering for version 12.

Some people on the forums have managed to do this despite the fact we don't officially support it, so you may want to perform a search or perhaps additional responses to this thread.
