    HTTP Update failing

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone else have this problem aswell?
When trying to update cpanel (no matter what server i'm trying to update)

I'm getting these kind of errors:

    Sync Source: http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/CURRENT/scripts
    Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/CURRENT/scripts/.cpanelsync.lock....Trying httpupdate.cpanel.net @ 69.72.164.152
    Unable to retrieve file
    ...Failed
    initfpsuexec: using apache 1.x support
    Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/CURRENT/cpanel/version....100%......Done
    Installed Version: 10.1.0-CURRENT_34
    Newest Version: 10.1.0-CURRENT_42

    Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/CURRENT/install....50%...100%......Done

    Unable to retrieve file
    ...Failed

And then it skips all the installing, tries to download the addon scripts which fails aswell:

    Updating addon type:scripts addon:PHP-Nuke version:latest....Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/addons/scripts/PHP-Nuke/.cpanelsync.lock....Trying httpupdate.cpanel.net @ 69.72.164.152

    Updating addon type:scripts addon:PhpWiki version:latest....Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/addons/scripts/PhpWiki/.cpanelsync.lock....Trying httpupdate.cpanel.net @ 69.72.164.152

    etc.

Is anyone else experiencing this aswell?

    yes

it's even more strange that sometimes some of the files it was trying to pull were found and others the server didn't respond or just wasn't there.

    odd...

    Yeah indeed,

I'm having the exact same problem on all of my servers...
doesnt matter if I try release or current, havnt tested stable and edge :S

I called cpanel explaining it, but they said that they everything is running fine so that it's just me

Yet again i'm having problems updating with all servers,
no matter what network they are in.
/scripts/upcp is returning all kinds of errors, like could not connect to httpudate.cpanel.net etc.

    ...Failed
Unable to connect to host httpupdate.cpanel.net
    Trying httpupdate.cpanel.net @ 69.72.164.151
Unable to connect to host httpupdate.cpanel.net
    ...Failed
SIGINT recieved. Cleaning up and halting operations. << that was me hitting CTRL+C becaue it wasnt working anyway

    Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/CURRENT/cpanel/version....Unable to retrieve file
    ...Failed
Unable to connect to host httpupdate.cpanel.net
    ...Failed
    ...Done
    Installed Version: 10.1.0-CURRENT_76
    Newest Version:

    Etc.

And cpanel broke my apache aswell so that's even nicer, cant reach update servers, and then I cant reach them to get apache back to work in a correct way either...
    What's going on cpanel?

Having this issue. At first I thought it was my problem. After testing from multiple locations, it's obvious some of their subdomains are down. Forums was down for a while earlier as well.
