There has been a problem with the database! This is a notice email to let you know that SMF could not connect to the database, contact your host if this continues.

Is this your server (you set it up) or you are using another host for your website?

If this is your server, that's just your suspend page, I'm going to assume that your website directs to that page - happens on suspended accounts....

If this is not your server, that is their suspend page - contact support of your provider as soon as possible.

    Sorry I'm not following,

SMF is a PHP / MySQL forum system (if we are talking about the same SMF).

If he's account is suspended, there is a very high chance that his program won't be able to connect to the database. Why is his account suspended, overdue bill or a random encounter?

If it's been suspended for legitimate reasons, there isn't much you can do for him until your client fixed why his account was suspended in the first place (for example, he hasn't paid his monthly bill).

If the suspension shouldn't be there, just log into WHM and List Suspended accounts (from the left hand side) - pick his account on the right and click unsuspend. That will clear up a lot of problems for him.

    Am I following this right?

Sounds like the bill is past due or was suspended because of abuse or something.

Darren, it is very wierd he was answering you and even quoting your comment before your post, (By the timestamp anyway) very strange.
