httpd: bad user name

    I got the following message when I do config tests:
    httpd: bad user name XXX

    I recently removed the user XXX, and when apache restarted it crashed saying "httpd: bad user name XXX", in httpd.conf the user XXX no longer exists so to solve this I re-added XXX.

    Is there anyway to permanently remove this bug?

    Im running:
    - RedHatLinux 7.3
    - Latest Stable WHM
    - Latest Apache 1.3.28 After Zombie Bug Update

    It wasn't there. CPanel/WHM is doing its job when it deletes.
    I checked /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf (no entry for the domain as expected)

    I have noticed this a lot recently - a reboot fixes the problem but there must be a better solution.

    Anyone got any ideas?
