I have no idea why, but after I add new subdomain, my httpd.conf is "cleaned" I mean, all of my changs I was doing in the file for a long time are dissapearing :/ Even my mod_security module configuration has gone :/ It seems that httpd.conf is generated in very basic state after domains modification via cpanel.
Is there any way to turn this off? It makes no sense when I have to re-change httpd.conf after each "generation" when user add or remove domain or subdomain :/

Wha should I do to prevent this?

I'm having this problem too. I modified httpd.conf so I could use subversion and each time a site is created it is making a new httpd.conf. I would like to use the old method where it just appended the virtual hosts to the bottom. cPanel is there anyway to change this???
