Yesterday, the location that Apache was looking for httpd.conf changed from /usr/local/apache/conf (correct) to /etc/httpd/conf (incorrect)

Recompiling and upgrading Apache through WHM made it work, but then it changed again. Does anyone know what would cause this behavior?

    Go on, have a guess
Both are correct, /etc/httpd should be a symlink to /usr/local/apache
