    Hey,

When i was doing my usual Apache update, when i tried to start the HTTPD is failed. When i checked the httpd.conf thouroughly i found that half of the virtual hosts are gone. Is there a script that can generate the httpd.conf again?

    Thanks in Advance.

Do you have any old backups of this saved? Cpanel occationally deletes part of this file.

you should always backup before doing apache update, but in this case I thik that there is a script to rebuild httpd.conf from proftpd.conf (or was it another way around?) in /scripts/

    /scripts/rebuildhttpdconffromproftpd
will rebuild the entries from the proftpd.conf file
    and
    /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf
will rebuild the entries from the /var/cpanel/users directory

    Just pick one.
