httpd has failed, please contact the sysadmin

I've run a check on the configuration and it returns Syntax OK. Apache keeps dieing. It won't startup with apachectl start, but it magically starts with apachectl restart, but is only up for like 10 minutes. I have even reinstalled apache with easyapache and this is still continuing to happen. Please anyone that has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Go on, have a guess
Do you get any errors in the error log after restarting:
    /etc/httpd/logs/error_log
