https for domains

    hi

    please help me with settings https to two situation:

    1) when I put https the opened site will be this same as http
    2) when I put https the opened site will be different than http (different directory location)

    You can do this by installing the SSL certificate for the website in WHM. The normal and secure websites will initially point to the same directory. By editing your httpd.conf, you can then manually change the home directory for the secure site to another separate location.

    Note: We are still using Apache 1.3 where is quite ok to edit the httpd.conf directly. I believe that with newer versions and cPanel\WHM, your changes to httpd.conf might get overwritten again in future, and you might need to edit some other cache files instead.

    of course, this is very big problem :(

    I do this by whm but when I put https:// address to firefox I received error something like invalid redirection ...

    thx a lot
