    Sites with SSL have to be assigned their own IP addresses.

    how about when you use shared SSL?

    My site has it's own IP address. The shared IP is 69.12.97.16 and the sites IP is/69.12.97.20.

    The IP:PORT combination must be unique for each SSL site, whether using Shared SSL or not.

    You have to issign the first SSL CERTIFICATE to the hostname of the server. e.g host.mydomain.com
