Hi, Cpanel monitors apache and if it sees it's not working, it attempts to "automagically" restart.
I'm having trouble with https quitting (3 times over the last 2 weeks). Does anyone have a way to automatically monitor and restart that service if needed?

When it stops, http addresses keep working, just the https stuff won't work anymore.

I did a search on here for https but didn't find anything relevant... if this has been talked about elsewhere on this forum can someone point me in the right direction to find it?

    thanks

Well, Munin will do that for you or if you want, SIM.

However if the service keeps on failing, that's not something you can fix with a service restart, that would just be side stepping the problem.

    Have you tried re-building apache?
