I accidentally deleted .htaccess file and my site is not opening now

Hello Forum gurus

domain.com/wp-admin was not working and I randomly read internet saying deleting .htaccess file will fix the problem. With out creating a backup I deleted the file.:(

Now what should I do to get back my site to normal.

If it was customized, you'll need to grab it from a backup, if possible.

If it was never touched, you should be able to download a copy of wordpress from the wordpress.org site and extract the .htaccess from that and upload to your public_html directory I believe.
