Hello,

You can login your server through SFTP using the root user details but you will have to use SSH port instant of FTP while login your server, You can use filezilla FTP client.

Go to the FTP Service Configuration section in WHM and make sure "Allow Logins with Root Password" is set to "Yes".

This will only let you log in with the root password for any user on your server, but I don't think you can actually log in as 'root' itself, nor should you. Use SSH for this instead. If you're heart-set on using FTP, you can technically add an entry to /etc/proftpd/ to get the FTP server to authenticate. Then we can all cry for you.

Hello :)

I suggest accessing FTP as the account username if your desire is to upload files through FTP. File ownership issues will likely arise if you upload the files as the "root" user instead of the account username.

Thank you.
