I can't receive e-mail from any domain other than the ones I have on my server

Hi,

I am having a huge problem right now, I can't receive any e-mail from any domains other than those located on my server.

no matter if they are addresses from free e-mail services or private, if the domain is not hosted on my server I won't receive the e-mail.

Anyone could help me with this?

What do you see in the maillogs?
/var/log/exim_mainlog
/var/log/exim_rejectlog

Hi,

Check with your /etc/resolv.conf and /etc/hosts files whether the entries are set right.

Also, check your /etc/exim.conf file

I had this same exact problem and no one could answer it anywhere, (never asked here though)

What i had to do was backup every domain, do a fresh install of cPanel, and restore everything.

After that all is well again, but it was a major pain in the rear end.

Check the files:
/etc/localdomains
/etc/remotedomains

and make sure your domains are listed in:
/etc/localdomains
and removed from:
/etc/localdomains

Anyway, such issue could cause some blacklist incorrect DNS records.
