You might go into Configure Backup settings, double check everything and save, just to see if that helps. Not sure it will of course but can't hurt. You could go into the Select Specific Users and untick all but one small account, save, then force a backup and watch your log for clues as well I suppose. Check your Spam folder. Change the email its sent to and test. Check the actual backups to make sure they are even running.

    As a few ideas.

You can force a backup as mentioned with this of course:
    /scripts/cpbackup --force

    Hi,

Thanks for the script, but it was late night yesterday so i didn't tried, backup is taken place today but have not received notification email.

I tried to grep exim log see following output

    root@server [~]# grep cpbackup /var/log/exim_mainlog
    root@server [~]#

i have also checked today's backup log file & i have found that Notification => myemail@myemailid.net via EMAIL [level => 2] line is missing

    -rw------- 1 root root 5041 Oct 25 11:27 1319521750.log

[cpbackup] The following backups were already up to date: weekly, monthly
    [cpbackup] at Tue Oct 25 09:45:46 2011

Now please suggest what to do ??

WHM > Server Contacts > Contact Manager, cPanel Backup, set to Low. This way you should get an email even if backups do not run.

For example, one day a week I do not do backups, but I am still notified by my system with this:

[cpbackup] Backups are not scheduled to run today (This can be adjusted in WHM => Backup => Configure Backup)

You might try changing the root email address to some other server. Is the one you use for sending mail to now, blocking email from your server for some reason? No way of knowing from here, but that could be the case.

If you suspect an issue with your cPanel server you should open a ticket on this though.

Low would be better, as suggested previously though.

You can always tweak these later of course, for now, set all to Low and see how that goes.

For the record, I have had these all set to Low, and the email setting at top of page, set to Low, forever. On all of my servers I've ever managed. I want to know everything going on. :)
