That message indicates your system package manager (YUM) is unable to update a package successfully. It indicates the "irqbalance" RPM requires the following kernel version or higher:

2.6.32-358.2.1

Do you receive any output when running "yum update" on it's own? Also, please post the output of:

uname -a

Note that this is an OS-level issue that is not associated with the cPanel software.

ok I actually fixed this by checking my /etc/yum.repos/CentOS-Base.repo and there was a line that read:
exclude=kernel* iptables* iproute puppet* facter
So I commented that out.
Then ran yum update kernel
updated my kernel to 2.6.32-431.3.1.el6.x86_64
uncommented out that line then re-ran yum update
and my irqbalance updated just fine.

Thought I would pass this on.

I think the previous posted misunderstood the issue.

sendmail-cf is not a standard cPanel package. You can try adding an exclusion for it in /etc/yum.conf or remove it if you no longer require it.
