    Most emails cannot downloaded.

I tried to run it again but it uses all the servers memory and just sits there.

Here is one of the errors when i try to deliver amessage in queue:

R=temp_defer defer (-1): Mail Server Upgrade in Progress. Message Queued.

wow ..mbox huh. i think the rest of us have been using maildir since 2003. anyway ..if i remember correctly it took about 4 hours on my bigger boxes with tons of accounts. also keep in mind any really large inbox files are going to take a long time.

I see, I stopped it before it finished. So the server thinks it's still running. It looks like about 4 hours for this box.

    Thanks

O.K. it finished this but i still get this: R=temp_defer defer (-1): Mail Server Upgrade in Progress. Message Queued.

And no messages are being received.

I tried to switch back to mbox but every domain had a error so now I am running to go back to mail/dir

Not sure how to check what is wring with mail/dir or how to get cpanel to get everything working right.

If you killed the script before it finished it will not restart the mail server. You need to run it again to complete the changes or run it and revert to mbox with your backups.

If a process is hung like that, use strace -p pid to check the details of what is going on.

And of course, feel free to submit a support ticket so we can look at the server.
