    Hi there,

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum (and double apologies for posting it twice, but it is quite urgent - sorry!)

Anyway, on my website (link in profile) I use CPanel, but I don't use Linux! I use Windows XP and to my knowledge have never downloaded any files to allow CPanel to be used.

My problem is, I've bought some webspace and chose the option to have RedHat CPanel (or something similar sounding). Since I am already using CPanel, will I be able to use RedHat CPanel?

See, I had no idea it was for Linux cos as I said I use it on Windows XP!

The OS on your home PC does not have to match that of your webhosting server. You'll be fine.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the term "OS"

So I'll be able to use RedHat CPanel as normal when I use my new webspace? Whew that's taken a weight off :) Thanks for that!

"cPanel" is generally the term for the server side (webhosting company) installation, so you dont need anything other than a webbrowser to use it. :)

OS is an abbreviation for Operating System. Your home computer uses Windows XP, and your hosting company uses RedHat Linux as the OS on their servers. No problem at all.
