iconv with ea 3

    i am trying recompile apache by easyapache as well as whm but it didnt compile
    iconv
    whenever i check logs file
    /usr/local/cpanel/logs/easy/apache/build.1206683587

    i can see
    grep iconv /usr/local/cpanel/logs/easy/apache/build.1206683587

    --without-iconv
    checking for iconv support... no

    checking for iconv... yes

    checking for iconv... (cached) yes

    i dont know why it dont compile iconv even i select many times.



    what may be the problem
    php -m dont show iconv
    as well as
    php ifno shows --without-iconv

    pls help to enble this one

    I compile with iconv with no problem, only problem I have is with the java option that's already marked as a bug.
    same setup centos 5.0 64bit

    I'm having the same problem. I have submitted a support ticket about it. I'll report back here when I get it resolved.

    Resolved

    I got a reply from cPanel, and this issue is now resolved on our server. At the end of Exhaustive Options List, there is an option:

    Save my profile with appropriate PHP 5 options set so that it is compatible with cpphp

    UNCHECK that box, and iconv will work. Of course, make sure you have Iconv checked above.
