    Hi All,

Here is the situation. Got a new client and I am only hosting the web site. Comcast is doing dns and mail. Great for me, however I have a little problem.

When I set up the account in WHM it created a dns zone, I deleted it. Now why wont the box forward mail for the domain generated off of the web forms?

The emails bounce back to me (root)
Is there anything else I have to delete?
Is there a cache I have to clear?

    Here's the message:

    Any ideas?

    Thanks, Tina

    Go on, have a guess
If you;re not hosting mail for the domain you need to remove it from /etc/localdomains and add it to /etc/remotedomains (create that file if necessary) and it should then be sent out correctly.

    Thank you.

    Hi Jonathan

I hadn't been back since the post and today I really needed to know the answer. I was so happy to see that you responded. I hadn't received notification. So I just wanted to say thank you for your help. It worked.
