    Can someone tell me how skins work. They are just a bunch of html with embedded functions. Can i also use if...then type functions?

    I really hate the way it allows people to attempt to setup software that requires cgi-bin or mysql when they haven't got cgi-bin or mysql. To be honest I just want the panel to say "You need to purchase a mysql database before you can setup this software" -
    if(availablemysql=0){echo "Buy mysql"; }
    lets face it people can't resist pushing the button to see what happens. But they'll get upset if their space is filled with useless code and they have to manually uninstall it.

    I would take a look at rvskin.com their skin allows you to switch on and off what is available for users to see.
